Educators seek out opportunities for leadership to support student empowerment and success and to improve teaching and learning.
Supportive leaders ensure that their students or teams have the necessary resources for success.
In Career and Technical Education, there are thousands of helpful tools, websites, and programs available to both students and educators.
A tool that I enjoy using for organization, supporting students, and improving learning is Symbaloo.
View my Symbaloo below which contains many resources you may find helpful. Each "icon" within the Symbaloo is a clickable link.

Leading in CTE means supporting student success and empowerment by ensuring that students are well informed of the CTE pathways and programs available to them at our schools.
I designed a flyer, using BeFunky Photo Editor, to get students interested in attending an informational Zoom session about CTE. The flyer was distributed to students and posted to bulletin boards around campus See the flyer below. Click the preview image to view larger.

Part of leadership is taking initiative to educate others, including members of our community. We learn and grow best together.

Another tool that I love using for improving teaching and learning is Livebinders. I can create virtual "binders" for anything students and fellow educators may need: classroom policies, CTE educator resources, assignments, course syllabi, etc. Below is an example of a high school career and college information binder. This particular binder was created and published using Livebinders by Tracy Zanitsch. Click HERE to view the full binder.

In CTE, a great way for students to gain leadership experience is by participating in student organizations. Most CTE educators are sponsors for one, or several, CTE organizations as a way to empower and engage student leaders.
